The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and a deep commitment to its mission. He brings profound enthusiasm and dedication to advancing the association’s causes and expanding its outreach to help the poor and underprivileged, especially in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.
He actively leads TANA members and sister organizations to participate in programs that promote Telugu culture, language, and heritage, and raise funds for essential community services. One of the primary objectives of the association under his leadership is to provide succour to the poor, particularly to those deprived of shelter, education, health care, and other basic facilities, and to help street and destitute children transition back into the mainstream of society.
In addition to his contributions through TANA, Mr. Komati serves as Chairman and President of Swagat Group of Organizations and is a Trustee of Little Hearts Foundation. He has a keen interest in organizing initiatives focused on Telugu culture, language, and tradition that align with the long-term objectives of these organizations.
Mr. Komati has also held important leadership roles in community associations in North America. He served as President in 2004 and 2005 and as Chairman of the Federation of Indo-Americans (FIA) in 2002 and 2003.
Through innovative ideas and collaborative efforts with TANA and its member organizations, Mr. Komati works to strengthen the association financially by raising funds and building lasting endowments, ensuring that the Telugu language and culture are practiced, protected, and passed on to younger generations.

His leadership journey spans decades and crosses continents, reinforcing his role as a trusted voice and influencer for community development and cultural empowerment.
