One of the main objectives of TANA is to empower itself in terms of financial strength and provide succor to the Poor, Street and Destitute Children Deprived of Shelter, Education, Health etc.

ఛార్జ్ తీసుకున్న జయరామ్

ఉత్తర అమెరికాలో ఎపి ప్రభుత్వ ప్రత్యేక ప్రతినిధిగా జయరామ్‌ కోమటి గురువారం చార్జ్ తీసుకున్నారు. లేక్ వ్యూ గెస్ట్ హౌస్ లోని తన ఛాంబర్ లో ఆయన బాధ్యతలు అందుకున్నారు. ఎన్నారైల సహకారంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని అన్ని జిల్లాలను అభివృద్ది చేస్తానని జయరామ్ ఈ సందర్భంగా చెప్పారు. ఉత్తర అమెరికాలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ప్రభుత్వ ప్రత్యేక అధికార ప్రతినిధిగా ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం (తానా) మాజీ అధ్యక్షుడు జయరామ్‌ కోమటిని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వంలో క్యాబినేట్ హోదా ఇచ్చి నియమించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

అమెరికాకు వచ్చే అధికారిక ప్రతినిధులకు, ప్రముఖులకు అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలు, సమావేశాలు, ఇతర ఏర్పాట్లను పర్యవేక్షించడం, కార్యక్రమాలను సమన్వయం చేయడం వంటి వాటితోపాటు, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాల అమలుకు అవసరమైన ఏర్పాట్లను కూడా జయరామ్‌ కోమటి పర్యవేక్షిస్తారు. అమెరికాలో అతి పెద్ద తెలుగు సంఘమైన ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘానికి అధ్యక్షునిగా వ్యవహరించి ఆ సంస్థకు పెద్దదిక్కుగా ఇప్పటికీ వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. 25 సంవత్సరాలుగా ఆయన అమెరికాలో తెలుగు వైభవానికి కృషి చేస్తున్నారు. కృష్ణాజిల్లా మైలవరం మండలంలోని వెల్వడం గ్రామం జయరామ్‌ కోమటి స్వస్థలం. ఆయన తండ్రి కోమటి భాస్కరరావు, తల్లి శ్రీమతి కమల. కోమటి భాస్కరరావు మైలవరం పంచాయతీ సమితి ప్రెసిడెంట్‌గా, ఎమ్మెల్యేగా పనిచేశారు. 1980లో ఉన్నత విద్యాభ్యాసం కోసం అమెరికా వెళ్లిన జయరామ్‌ కాలిఫోర్నియా యూనివర్సిటీ నుంచి ఎంబిఎ డిగ్రీ తీసుకుని రెస్టారెంట్‌ బిజినెస్‌తో అమెరికాలో తన జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించి ఎన్నో ఉన్నత శిఖరాలు అధిరోహించారు.
